Dec / Jan update

Hi friends and family

I realise I am a little late with sending an update but seeing that I managed to see quite a few of you in person while I was in South Africa, I’m sure you will understand!

Happy New Year!

First of all, Happy New Year! (Better late than never haha)! May we continue seeing the goodness and faithfulness of God in every area of our lives, and experience even more of His life and breath on all we set out to do.

Worship and prayer night

When I got back to Marseille at the beginning of January, we started our year with a week of prayer and fasting along with our Every Nation global family. We do this at the start of every year to seek God and lean in to what He is saying for the new year. I’m really expectant for this coming year - of course the vision remains the same - making disciples of Jesus Christ - that will never change! But I am excited to see new growth and more people being equipped and empowered to carry out this call. We need the Holy Spirit more than ever - to breathe on this process and bring new life and growth like never before. Europe is poised for revival - God coming close, the church coming alive and the lost coming to Christ (taken from Revival Rain by Wayne Sanderman, one of our EN pastors in South Africa). Please pray and trust God with me to see this in Marseille specifically, but for all our churches and campus ministries in Europe.

Beautiful South Africa

I am so grateful for an amazing 2 months in South Africa - visiting with a lot of my ministry partners, making some new connections and spending some much-needed quality time with my family and friends. Here are a few photos from my trip:

My sister and I at the theatre

Celebrating my nieces’ excellent school results!

Christmas carols with my aunt and uncle at her Frail Care centre.

Breathing it all in - Africa will always have my heart ❤️

A fitting way to end my time in SA - a stunning Sedgefield sunset

Partnership

I still need to significantly increase my monthly financial support, so please trust with me that I am able to continue to meet with people, whether that is over Zoom or in person.

Pray for Sofia

Sofia (left) with her sister Rylie

Just before I left South Africa, our church family received the difficult news that Sofia Rasch (Matt and Christy’s 20 year old daughter) was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. She is currently undergoing an intense course of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. This news is quite a shock for all of us but we are standing in faith with our pastors for Sofia’s complete healing. Please join your faith and prayers with ours over the next few months as she receives treatment. Miracle loading…watch this space…

Our small group ministry starts up again this week, and I will be preaching this coming Sunday, so the year has started with a bang! We have a full few months ahead but I look forward to sharing the testimonies and updates of what God continues to do in this corner of Europe.

Thank You

Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement - those who give so generously and who pray continually - you are making all the difference in my life and the lives of those we minister to.

Lots of love,

Fiona
