September newsletter
Dear friends and family
September has flown by so fast but it has been great to get back into a ministry rhythm, with everyone back from holiday.
Small group discipleship
As I mentioned last time, we kicked off the month with a 21 day Daniel fast, trusting God for breakthroughs in our church and region. I am excited to say that when we opened up our small groups after the break, I have had on average 12 people coming every week. This feels like a significant breakthrough in terms of people committing to this weekly discipleship meeting. It is definitely one of the highlights of my week - seeing people dig deeply into the Word of God together, praying for each other and growing in practical ways of building community. This is where the life is!
This was my small group last night - it is always amazing to see younger and older people ministering to each other!
Last Saturday I had the privilege of teaching at our Intercession training day. As a church we want to give people the practical tools necessary to be effective in this ministry. I was encouraged by people’s willingness to learn and grow in prayer.

10 year celebration!
As a church we are preparing for our 10 year anniversary conference which will be 18-20 October! Please pray with us for a significant time as we not only look back in gratitude over the last 10 years (I have had the privilege of being here for almost 8 of them), but also look forward to what God has for our city and region - along with all our European churches, we are trusting to raise up leaders and church planters to plant a campus-reaching church in every European nation by 2040.
Honouring a faith hero
Some sad news for those of you who aren’t part of our Every Nation family or have not yet heard the news… On 13th September, the founding pastor of the Every Nation London church and apostolic leader for our European churches, Wolfi Eckleben, lost his battle with cancer.
We have been praying and trusting for a miracle the past 2,5 years and although we didn’t get the miracle we all wanted, we have seen many miracles over this journey. Wolfi was initially given 3 months to live and God supernaturally extended his life for another 2 years, giving him time to not only write another book (!) but also to make sure the baton of leadership was effectively passed on to the next generation. I had the privilege of editing some of Wolfi’s books over the years and he really was a hero of faith! This is the last sermon he preached a few months ago on a Faith that does not fail. You can listen to it here:
I’m coming to South Africa
Some other news is that I will be coming to South Africa in November and I would love to see you! Please let me know your availability over November and the beginning of December so I can start planning possible meetings. Also, if you have any connections you can think of who you could connect me with about ministry partnership, that would be a huge blessing.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for your faithful support, both in giving and in prayer. It makes ALL the difference.
Much love from Marseille,
Fiona
